I poured an ittty bitty 25 ml capped bottle into a chalice.
A: It poured a brownish red body with a massive three finger sticky head that supported a solid dense lacing that lingered longer than expected.
S: It smelled of dark roasted sweet malts with dark fruits (raisins and plums) and chocolate.
T: It had a rich toasted malt flavor that tasted like rich milk chocolate accented by raisins and almonds. It was well balanced and a joy to drink.
M: It was medium to full bodied with a sweet front and clean finish.
D: This was a nice rich dubbel that was easy to drink. It started sweet and ended clean with little aftertaste. I will enjoy this brew again and again.

Beer bottle (33cl), tasted in 1999.
Appearance: Mahogany, limpid (yeast), well saturated, brown foam tight and tenacious
Smell: Smell fresh, aromatic, deep malty, slightly soft, fruity caramel and yeast.
Taste and mouthfeel: Taste balanced and soft, less bitter, subtly spicy (alcohol).
Drinkability: Good strong beer

25 cl.bottle. Pours a big head that leaves a creamy lace. Ruby brown colour with red shades holing it to the light. Aroma of pie, vanilla, licorice, roasted notes and chocolate. Flavour is roasted but sweet, though a bit watery. Mouth of chocolate, licorice, raisins. Better than its sister Blondine in my opinion, but nothing very special. Nice drink if you have the chance, though.
