Pours a strawy, golden coloured brew with a nice, thick head.
The smell is mainly malty, with some notes of hops, spices and alcohol
Initially, the taste is amazing, with spicy maltiness and smoky, grainy notes flowing out to a hoppy, bitter finish. Strangely enough though, it gets worse after a while. The grainy aspect of the beer starts to become overwhelming and causes an awkward dry finish. The overall mouthfeel becomes coarse and the drinkabillity also suffers from this alot, making it hard to finish the 33cl.
A very strange brew. Maybe I got unlucky or maybe there's just something very fishy going on with this beer. If you can ignore it's flaws though, this one could prove to be very intresting. Will try this again ...

Appearance: golden, good clarity, thickish layer of off-white foam that slowly flattens to a splotchy layer of cream
Aroma: malty (almost like whiskey), dusty, floral hops, light honey scent, alcohol
Flavor: mild malt sweetness that is quickly swiped off the table by a gripping grain alcohol taste, slight spice, finishes dry with a long-lingering hop bitterness, aftertaste of alcohol and soapy bitterness
Mouthfeel: medium body, tight carbonation, some alcohol warmth
Other comments: Not at all impressed by this one. Starts off promising, but the flavor really falls flat on its face. It's like they focused soley on appearance and aroma at the complete disregard of flavor.
