This beer's a beauty: a pretty dark ruby colour with a frothy and steady head. That's its only perk though. A smell of citric hops and yeast. A sweet taste with a lot of citric hops again, and vaguely some caramel in the background. Aftertaste is more or less absent. Alcohol is noticable as well, but not in a dominating way. Light bodied, a bit watery even. Apart from its uncomplexity and unbalance: this is not a bock. With some coulance it could qualify as a maibock (not a very good one though, and with autumn bock looks), but don't call it Steenbock (capricorn).
