This is a Belgian Strong Ale brewed exclusively for The Cheeky Monk in Colorado.
Pours an almost clear golden orange with a very thick, firm and almost marshmellow pure white head (that is long lasting but reduces after some time in the glass). Looks nice.
Nose is all assertive Belgian esters; that great "carnuba wax," "banana fruit" nose. Pleasant and fruity. Cooked stone fruits and inviting.
Mouthfeel is very rich, nicely and elegantly carbonated and most inviting. Super well balanced.
Flavors are layered and complex. Big orange and an almost cherry quality. There is an undertone of orange and fruit marmalade. Almost sweet and very pleasant, drinkable and inviting. Nice orange rich malt tones.
Finish is rich and long lasting cooked fruit with a light bitter character. Very drinkable and very nice with food, heavy or light.
