Had on tap. So the tropical fruits in the hops are the star especially in the smell. The taste is brought down by the heightened malt and a odd dry sand taste. The subtle wood feel is nice thought. Overall good but could be great

Bright orange with a thin layer of foam, minimal lace.
Sandalwood, fruit, and earthy hops in the aroma.
Taste is bitter with a heavy buttery diacetyl note. Earthy pine in the dry aftertaste. Light to medium bodied, kind of bittersweet, noticeable caramel malt. Overall, it was the worst of 3 IPA's here today.
Edit 2018: much better, upping the ratings. Very citrus peel forward and resiny, super dry bitter finish. Tasty stuff.

Fantastic IPA! Slightly more IBU and ABV than their It Takes Two IPA, but similarly colored and just as clear. For a brand new brewery, On Tour is really craking out solid IPAs. Excellent hop and malt balance, and wonderful flavor. Extremely drinkable!!!
