16 fl. oz can, canned 09/12/2022, Batch#230. My first beer from On Tour Brewing Company, 4pk's of these just showed up in my area at the local beer spot. "West Coast Style India Pale Ale".
Poured to clear stemless wine snifter.
Nice golden honeyed orange body. Big finger of fluffy frothy off-white head that leaves lots of good spotty lacing. Not clear, but it has some clarity, while maintaining an unfiltered appearance as well. It looks damn nice.
Big fresh floral hop aromas jump right out of the glass at you. Huge mango, papaya, grapefruit, tangerine, orange, creamsicle, this has got me excited; I feel like I'm in for a treat.
Initial hint of rye malt, which wasn't noticeable on the nose. Very fruity & juicy - tons of stone fruit, grapefruit, tangerine, mango, papaya, guava, pine. Hugely piney & resinous on the finish, very good level of classical DIPA bitterness. It's like the bar has been raised for some time now; I feel like seven or eight years ago, this would be considered a double IPA.
Overall, impressed with the level of freshness here, and a nice introduction to this brewery for me. Looking forward to trying more.

A: Poured from the can into a tulip glass. Body is clear golden with a hint of orange. Some white bubbles on top, but I wouldn't call it a "head."
S: Surprised to get so much malt on the nose: grainy malt with a touch of fruity hops.
T: Bready grain foundation is followed by modest citrus - some grapefruit and orange peel, maybe some lime. Malt dominates though - think toast or wheat toast. Hint of bitterness lingering in the aftertaste. Heat from 7% ABV is noted in the belly.
M: Light-to-medium in heft, a little slick in feel.
O: Meh. I've been drinking mainly NEIPAs for a while now, so I may no longer be the best judge of these West Coast-style IPAs, but I don't think this one is anything to write home about. Not a bad beer, but it certainly doesn't excite me.

Bronze, orange pour with little head or lacing. Strong piney aroma. Smooth, balanced flavor. Definitely displaying west coast characteristics. Nice beer, glad to support a brewery brewing with the spirit of Phans and Deadheads.

Canned 03/31/21. Decent enough WCIPA. Only complaint is that it's a touch maltier than my preference for WCIPAs. Also would like a touch more bitterness if I had my druthers. But apart from this it certainly scratches the WCIPA itch and I will purchase this as long as I can find it fresh. Enjoyed this more than Asteroid Crashed fwiw (in fairness those cans were a touch older when consumed).

A decent west coast style ipa, the best beer I've had from on tour.

16 oz canned 2/24/21. 7% ABV, 60 IBU. Description on the can...West Coast IPA focused on hop aroma and flavors of bright citrus, passion fruit, papaya, and lime.
Looks good, with thin white head that dissipates quickly. Great hop aroma as described. Very flavorful with citrus rind, with some grapefruit. Mouthfeel is soft, not as biting as I like, but with some bitterness. Overall a very enjoyable old school IPA.
