Had on tap. Pours opaque, jet black in color with one third inch head. Taste is big smoked malt and bacon. Roasty, moderate low body, moderate carbonation. Borderline rauchbier in quality. Way better than expected. Another winner, call me very impressed Big Slide. Another style that is so easily messed up, done to near perfection.

Pours a deep brown/black color with a medium bodied light tan colored head that laces a bit down the glass as it fades. Big roasted malt aromas with some smokiness in there, a nice woody smoke finish (Applewood smoke is what it says). Taste is right there, bit roasted malts and a nice smoky finish. Great feel, lighter on the tongue than expected, perfect amount of carbonation, this is an excellent beer!
