Pours a clear orange, with thick, white head.
Smell is very crisp, with heaps of citrus and some pine.
The taste is... awesome. Very well balanced, good, solid maltbase that allows the hops to shine. Lemon, orange, grape fruit and pine all intertwine, with just a hint of tartness hanging around. The overall flavor rivals any West Coast IPA you care to mention, and that comes from a massive fan of the West Coast IPA. Outstanding stuff.
Mouthfeel is soft, medium bodied. Well carbonated.
Overall, just wow. Emmaboda is quickly becoming my favorite Swedish brewery, and one I think can compete with the best breweries overall. I am very proud to have these guys in Sweden!
