Pours a slightly hazy yeallow, with nice foam, leaving some terrific lacing.
The smell caught me a bit by surprise. Starts strong with peaches and grapefruit, and some grapes in the background. On the very end, though, is an almost.... bretty pepperiness that I wasn't excpecting. It gives this a fairly unique quality, in a good way.
Taste is freaking terrific. The peach and grapefruit from the nose really shine, along with a great hop bite, that is almost ridicolously balanced. Finish is long and a bit dry, with just a hint of white pepper. As it got a bit warmer, the bitterness became more pronounced.
Mouthfeel is nice and soft, medium bodied. Good level of carbonation.
Once again, Emmaboda impress the hell out of me. Had this right after Bapelsin, and I just can't decide whch I like more. Just a superb IPA, with a unique nose. Emmaboda Bryggeri has a die hard fan here.
