Poured into a snifter. A slightly hazy bright golden color with a medium white head. %Taste and aroma lined up with a hefty dose of Brett phenolics that mixed well with earthy and floral hops. White bread malt that provided a great canvas for this. Clean and dry finishing and easy drinking.

Great lager, far more interesting than most offerings. Oats provide a nice clear backbone, but the hops are the real treat - floral, piney, they add an element often missing from a lager. You can taste the house cultures, nice funky wildness to it. Light, good carbonation, nice head, this is a real crusher.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours slightly hazy pale golden/straw color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, melon, red/green apple, white wine, hay, straw, peppercorn, herbal, floral, grass, cracker, and white bread; with light notes of leathery/musty funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, earthy hops, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, melon, red/green apple, white wine, hay, straw, peppercorn, herbal, floral, grass, cracker, and white bread; with light notes of leathery/musty funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tartness, peppery yeast spiciness, and herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, melon, red/green apple, white wine, hay, straw, peppercorn, herbal, floral, grass, cracker, white bread, light leather/funk/vinegar, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, earthy hops, and moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tart/bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/acidic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.4%. Overall this is an outstanding wild ale! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, earthy hops, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the modestly acidic/sticky/drying finish, not overly lactic. Fantastic well rounded Brett/Lacto complexity and balanced earthy hop presence; solid pils malt/oat backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. A highly enjoyable offering as expected. Great balance of wild ale and Pilsner style notes.
