Batch from Fall 2018. Pours a cloudy golden-bronze, with a half-finger of audibly fizzing head. Aroma and flavor profile are both very delicate, full of subtle complexity. Well balanced across lightly tart acidity, fruity notes (pomegranate, mandarin, white peach), farmhouse funk, and bready yeast.

Cloudy yellow body with a finger of white foam. Smell has barnyard funk, pomegranate, subtle citrus especially orange, grapefruit and lime, cracker malts and oak. Taste is very subtle but appreciated, pomegranate and citrus add a nice flair to the base barnyard funk, earth, hay, wild yeast, oak, and green apple. Feel is bright, delicate, airy, funky, and slightly tart.

This is a classic, funky saison with tart pomegranate and accents of orange character via a nicely frothy, tingly body that exudes seedy sesame, hay and nutty cashew.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, 2018 vintage bottling. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tart/tangy pomegranate, cherry, cranberry, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white wine, hay, straw, grass, cracker, and white bread; with light peppercorn, leather, lacto/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of pomegranate, fruity/funky/acidic yeast, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart/tangy pomegranate, cherry, cranberry, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white wine, hay, straw, grass, cracker, and white bread; with light peppercorn, leather, lacto/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness; light fruit tang, and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy pomegranate, cherry, cranberry, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white wine, hay, straw, grass, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto/musty funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of pomegranate, fruity/funky/acidic yeast, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; and no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp, and fairly clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tartness, tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, fairly acidic, and lightly tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an outstanding fruited sour/wild ale. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of pomegranate, fruity/funky/acidic yeast, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish, not overly lactic. Awesome balance of earthy pomegranate and Brett/Lacto complexity; with a very clean pils malt backbone against acidity. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.

On tap at Brewskival 2018.
Pours a semi clear orange with fluffy head.
Smell is tart with notes of pomegranate, lime and orange, and a hint of funk and oak.
Taste is a terrific balance between the tartness from pomegranate and citrus, the slight funkiness and the mild, grapefruity bitterness.
Mouthfeel is thin, with sparkly carbonation.
Overall, a terrific sour, with great balance.
