Pours straw yellow with a fizzy white head that dissipated quickly leaving no lacing.
The smell is lacto, earthy, lemon. I would have probably guessed this was a sour by the smell.
The taste makes it clear this is not a sour. It is very earthy and funky up front but it gives way quickly to a red wine finish that lingers and then dominates.
The beer is thin and very dry.
Overall a nice beer, good flavor up front but dominated a little heavily by the dry, red wine finish.
