Pours a cloudy opaque golden color reminiscent of peach flesh. Two finger frizzy white head dissipates pretty quickly leaving no residual head, just a thin ring of foam along the outside of the glass.
Aroma has strong notes of peach, peach flesh, with a moderate tartness on the nose. Hints of mango and papaya provide a back up to the peaches. Very fruity overall. The tartness is there, but it takes on a fruity character more than anything.
Taste follows the nose with that peach punch up front. Notes of peach, peach flesh, mango and papaya strike the palate then almost as quickly dance away leaving just a residual flavor of peach flesh and wheat with a mild acidic tartness. Its moderately tart, but not overly acidic. There is a subtle sweetness that cuts the acidity down. The finish is actually quite mild with lingering notes of light malt and some wheat notes. For as much flavor as it starts with, the finish ends kind of abruptly.
Feel is light and bright. It is moderately tart - not producing a full on pucker but more like a lip smacking tartness. Dry finish.
Overall this was a lovely wild ale - the peaches were the star of the show and the tartness was beautifully balanced. I will definitely be looking for some more offerings from Speciation AA.

Really nice, subtle peach on this, not overwhelming, showcases the base Genetic Drift. Mild carbonation, a little more one dimensional than some other Speciation beers, but still a great example to try.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, 2018 vintage. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 2-3 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy peaches, fruit skin/pits, apricot, lemon, lime, orange, strawberry, pear, mango, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with light notes of peppercorn, leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, peaches, and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge juicy/lightly tart/tangy peaches, fruit skin/pits, apricot, lemon, lime, orange, strawberry, pear, mango, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with light notes of peppercorn, leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery Brett spiciness, and light fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy peaches, fruit skin/pits, apricot, lemon, lime, orange, strawberry, pear, mango, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, bread, light pepper/leather/funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, peaches, and moderate bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/spiciness, and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering spiciness, tart/tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/silky/grainy, and fairly sticky/acidic/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 6.6%. Overall this is an incredible fruited Brett wild ale! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, peaches, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink; with the mellowly spicy/tart/tangy/drying finish. Amazingly well rounded Brett complexity; perfectly balanced juicy peaches, and pale/wheat malts against acidity. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected. Less malty and more vibrant on fruit/Brett than the first batch.
