This is listed on their menu as a Nordic ale, brewed with lingonberries and I believe a kevik yeast strain. The sister site calls it a wild ale. It’s an interesting, somewhat difficult beer, slightly funky with the lingonberries.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 1/2019. Pours fairly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart lingonberries, cranberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, peppercorn, oak, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of pine, oaken vanilla, leathery/musty funk, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, lingonberries, pale/wheat malts, earthy hops, and moderate oak barrel notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart lingonberries, cranberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, peppercorn, oak, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of pine, oaken vanilla, leathery/musty funk, and yeast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate pine, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; peppery yeast spiciness; and light fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of lingonberries, cranberry, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, peppercorn, oak, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light leathery/musty funk, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, lingonberries, pale/wheat malts, earthy hops, and moderate oak barrel flavors; with an awesome malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness, tart/tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, fairly crisp/acidic/tangy, and lightly tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is an awesome fruited wild saison. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, lingonberries, pale/wheat malts, earthy hops, and moderate oak barrel flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Awesome balance of lingonberries, funky Brett/Saison yeast complexity, earthy hops, and pale/wheat malts; with nice overall oak presence. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example as expected.

$7.50 for a 16oz can on release day, comes equipped with sick black metal Speciation logo. Employee Small Batch, Todd’s Recipe. Really interesting brew worth a try. Pours a gorgeous golden pink/orange, almost like a peach. Very little head, recedes quickly. Funky, yeasty, berry, stone fruit nose. Very mild carbonation, has some almost apple juice-like qualities, very soft and pleasant. Yeasty backbone follows the initial fruity, hoppy, floral feelings. Getting some vinegar along with the oak, maybe some spice reminiscent of a saison. Funkier than it is sour, this would be great with some hard cheese.
