Hazy light straw with a thin finger of short-lived white foam. No lacing.

Big tart aroma with lots of lime, a floral element and some tropical fruit Starburst.

Tart tasting up front, with strong lime and some tropical fruit candy chews. Clear wheat in the otherwise relatively clean finish.

Light bodied with strong fizz in the feel.

I like the clean, wheat character of this, and the interesting guava profile, but the lime comes on a little strong to my taste.

A - Pours a hazy pale yellow with s two finger fizzy white head. The head dissolves quickly leaving some light soapy lacing.

S - Aroma is lime, guava, salt and light lactic funk.

T - The taste follows the aroma. Big guava and lime with some salt, straw and some very light lactose.

M - Light body with medium carbonation. Soft mouthfeel with a crisp dry finish.

O - Super tasty Berliner. The flavors are nice and bright. The 3.4% abv make this the perfect summer afternoon crusher.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 5/2019. Pours very hazy/cloudy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with poor retention, that reduces to nothing pretty quickly. No glass lacing, some clinging bubbles and streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tart/tangy pink guava, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, mint, wood, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of guava, lime, fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart/tangy pink guava, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, mint, wood, grass, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, zesty bitterness, and peppery Brett spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy pink guava, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, mint, wood, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread, light peppercorn/musty funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of guava, lime, fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a fantastic malt, tartness, tangy fruit, and bitter/spiciness balance; with zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering tang/tartness, bitter/spiciness, and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/acidic/tangy/sticky balance mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3.4%. Overall this is an excellent fruited Berliner weisse. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of guava, lime, fruity/funky/spicy/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish. Very soft and mildly lactic for the style. Awesome balance of vibrant fruit and Brett/Lacto complexity; with a great clean pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity for the ABV. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example as expected of the brewery.

This has a light feel to it that glides a bit too quickly off the palate with a thin effervescence much like cola. Flavors of herbal lime bring to mind a slightly more natural Sprite. I didn't detect as much guava as I'd expected.
