Barrel-aged sour ale with blackberry, boysenberry and vanilla.

For this insane fruit pastry sour, we teamed up with Ashley at Holiday Market. The only requirements he gave us: "It has to stain everything it touches and pucker you up". Mission accomplished. We dumped more fruit puree and fruit concentrate into this small batch than any other beer we've ever made, and you can tell. You'll understand why we called it "Protoplasm" when you pour it into your glass. To finish it off, we added some more Madagascar vanilla, because... #pastrysour
