16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 5/2020. Pours fairly hazy nearly opaque dark ruby red/purple color with a small fairly dense pink head with poor retention, that reduces to nothing pretty quickly. No glass lacing, and a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge sour/tart/tangy boysenberry, raspberry, blackberry, fruit jam/skin/seed, lemon, lime, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, and white bread; with lighter notes of pepper, oak, lacto/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Amazing aromas with fantastic balance and complexity of boysenberries, fruity/funky/acidic yeast, malts, and light oak notes; with big strength. Taste of huge sour/tart/tangy boysenberry, raspberry, blackberry, fruit jam/skin/seed, lemon, lime, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, and white bread; with lighter notes of pepper, oak, lacto/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy boysenberry, raspberry, blackberry, fruit jam/skin/seed, lemon, lime, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, white bread, lacto/musty funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of boysenberries, fruity/funky/acidic yeast, malts, and light oak flavors; with a fantastic malt/tart/sour/tangy balance, and no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering sour/tart/tangy. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an amazing fruited sour/wild ale. All around amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of boysenberries, fruity/funky/acidic yeast, malts, and light oak flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/drying finish; nicely soft and not overly lactic/tannic. Amazing balance of super jammy berries and Brett/Bactieria complexity; with a nice malt backbone against acidity, and solid oak foeder presence. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example as expected of the brewery. This is the best of this series so far! Tons of fruit, and lacking lingering pucker like some other ones.

Thanks to Joplamp for this one from the recent Can-Cans BIF. I speared the can unwrapping it, so quickly poured it into 2 pint glasses and shared with my coworker Jess. This beer was very good, the fruit flavors strong, but not overpowering, and just enough tartness to compliment. The body was a bit full and sticky, But, i attribute that to the beer being room temp. I'm sure that chilled it would have been much easier to enjoy.

I loved this beer, I wish I could have given a more proper review. Highly recommended if you see it.
