Can from tfontana, thanks again!
Solid black in color with a frothy tan head that persists.
Rich roast chocolate and caramel on the nose. Light earthy and fruity flavor thrown in. Creamy mouthfeel. Nice Stout.

Canned 2021 day 289 I think?
Pours a med dense creamy 1/2 finger head with moderate retention, fair spotty lacing, dark ruby to mahogany color semi clear
Nose fair roasty malt and dark chocolate, little nougat carafa like with baking spices and hint of anise, burnt coffee and dark roast, dark chocolate cookie, earthy creamy oat
Taste big roast again but not to acrid, a touch of burnt coffee and charred roast, dark bitter chocolate with a little creamy chocolate milk and dark chocolate cookie, then mild spicy hop with med bitterness, more carafa like nougat, medium level baking spices, dry finish with more spicy hop, roast char, little spicy alcohol, as it warms it gets fruity with a little anise, but big pizole like italian spice cookie
Mouth is fuller bod creamy rich, little silky med higher frothy carb, fair warning alcohol
Overall basically a double oatmeal stout, way too heavy for single but assuming that's what they were going for it's nice, a bit boozy, fair spices and lots of dark dark malts,a good winter beer for sure

Thanks to Brutalfarce for this one from his ninja box in Rookies #2 BIF. 16oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a solid black color with a bit over a half-inch of tan head that had decent retention and good lacing.
The aroma had a pleasant, basic "stout" scent; some sweet malt, a hint of roast, some light grains, and just a hint of chocolate. On the tongue though, that "hint of roast"? A full-on blast of coffee. Some malt and chocolate managed to get through, and there was a hint of licorice, but mostly all coffee.
The body was medium-full, and nicely smooth. Drinkability was tough for me, because I hate coffee. But, YMMV. Overall, prbably a pretty good beer, just not my thing. If you like cofveve, go for it.

SAmpling a cellar temp 16 oz can poured into my snifter. Picked up the cans at the brewery yesterday. The beer pours a deep dark cola brown color with a creamy tan head of 2 cm foaming up on a gentle pour. The foam fades quickly to a sturdy edge layer and one wispy island in the center of my glass.
The aroma is rich and malty, with roasted notes, dark chocolate, and some light coffee ground scent. I dont get any real hop presence on the nose and nothing to speak of for the ABV either.
First sip reveals a fairly thick body with slightly oily slick mouthfeel and very fine and tingly carbonation.
Flavor is what the nose predicts, with nice roasted malt notes and coffee grounds, a little dark chocolate, but no sweet milk chocolate hit. There is a little sweetness, but it is more caramel than any chocolate. I again dont find any balancing hop character, this is a malty brew through and through. The alcohol is well hidden and the beer is pretty crushable for 7%. Worth picking up for the beginning of fall.
