64oz Growler fill $28; imbibed same day in double wall glass coffee glass.
L: Black as expected but not quite opaque, two inch tan head that dissipated completely.
S: Espresso… overwhelming espresso; a true and natural aroma but a one note fiddle.
T: Taste follows the smell… almost pure espresso with slight malty sweetness. Very alcoholic and harsh finish.
F: Very carbonated and medium feel, I don’t know if they’re trying for a hoppy imperial stout but it is not working for me. It is hitting me as boozy.
O: This got better and better as I started to think of it as a boozy espresso liqueur that left me feeling no pain, but it’s not a balanced imperial stout.
