Hazy body with a nice cap and good lacing. Aroma is a mixture of tropical and dank; this beer is pretty pungent. Taste retains the aforementioned tropical and grassy dank notes, but also adds a cool bitterness on the finish. Medium (above average) body for an sub-8% IPA, crisp and well carbonated. Solid overall.

Canned 1/14/19. Owner of local taproom/bottle shop highly recommended that I try this, so here I am.
L: Pours a hazy straw yellow in color. Not quite murk status but is definitely in the NE style. I am assuming the double dry-hopped aspect plays a pivotal role in appearance. As far as head goes, from a simple straight-centered pour, a dense 2 finger stark white cap formed and retained quite nicely. Nice amounts of residual lacing spots the glass, but doesn't entirey sheath.
S: A nice mix of raw citrus and earthy hops. Grapefruit and lemon are dominant, and the hops are grassy and earthy with a nice piney presence. Bready smell coming from the malts as well. This beer smells like a fusion of NE & WC IPAs, sparing the dankness.
T: Really nice, and somewhat difficult to pin-point every exact flavor. The citrus flavor is prominent, consisting mostly of orange, grapefruit, and lemon. I also get flavors of pineapple, apricot, & mango. Here's the thing, there is a nice hop bite on the beer, along with a nice Nelson dankness. The finish is straight up lemongrass hops with a crisp pine finish that lingers in the aftertaste. Aftertaste also consists of malt sweetness that meshes well with the pine and citrus. Super enjoyable, and dare I say, somewhat crushable.
F: Light to medium in both body and weight. A nice moderate to high carbonation that provides the perfect fizzle.
O: I think this is exceptional. It embodies what I like most out of both styles. And, its 7.2 abv. I think this is a win in my book. I am very glad to have tried. Cheers!
