Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the Duvel nonic. Inviting fragrance of grapes and berries. Sprightly mouthfeel with that mellow fruity flavor and a modest bitter aftertaste. Tastes of melon and lime peel, or at least that's my idea of Nelson hops. The label says this is brewed with flaked rye, which seems to add to the interest. This is a more fragrant kind of hoppy brew and is well worth trying. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea's, dated 12/22/22.

The color is a very light almost clear yellow, the pour produces a white fluffy head that quickly recedes to a light cap of foam that remains throughout, leaving lacing on the sides of the glass. The smell is fresh and juicy, predominantly of mozaic hops. The taste follows the smell with a semi sharp mozaic bite. The feel is prickly carbonation. that complements the taste. Overall, this is a good beer, it has a light body with a bright juicy flavor.
