I’ve been saying for awhile now that Burgeon doesn’t make a bad beer (or even mediocre), but lately they’re just going from strength to strength. They seem to be one-upping themselves week-after-week, and Fresh Drip is one of their finest concoctions yet.
Slightly opaque, straw-yellow appearance, a 1/4 inch head never fully recedes and leaves a fair amount of lacing.
Bold bouquet, with tropical nuances and a hint of green apple and berry notes. More spicy in the palate, with suggestions of lemon pepper and whole grain crackers. Short, clean finish with little residuals between sips.

Had a can pour at Burgeon Tap Room/Carlsbad. Despite a huge blend of various hops nothing really stood out. Despite name claim re fresh hops there was minimal nose.
Overall a standard MOR WCIPA.
Nothing wrong; good beer. But no reason to have again from a brewery that has plenty of stand outs to explore/enjoy.
