Clear golden yellow with ample foam in the Piraat tulip. Light body and spritzy on the tongue. Aromas of apricot, melon, and lime peel. Quite fruity flavors, aromatic and a little on the sharp side. Some malty and grainy notes, then the citrus and green melon taste. Just a touch of malty sweetness and it finishes dry and tangy, but still full of the fruity aromatics. Overall this is a very flavorful and more robust sort of Pilsner, and quite rewarding for a slow sipper. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine. No apparent date.
