8 Year Anniversary IPA
We’re celebrating our 8 Year Anniversary, and needless to say we’re pretty stoked around here!
So we brewed another killer Double Dry Hopped IPA for the occasion, and loaded it up with 3 types each of Simcoe and Citra, as well as Columbus and Mosaic Hyperboost.
Yeah, you read that right!

Crystal clear golden yellow brew with plenty of foam in the Troubadour tulip. Aroma of lemon and straw. Flavors of orange peel, blueberry, a touch of grapefruit, and a resiny finish. This is a clean and flavorful hoppy brew; in fact the list of hops is silly but apparently nothing is overdosed. Still, it's intense with a bitter aftertaste that doesn't let up. From the 16 oz can purchased at San Diego Wine & Beer. Date not legible but tastes fresh.

16 oz can into a stemmed pint glass
Beautiful, clear, copper-tan appearance, medium carbonation with a light dose of lacing.
Piney, dank bouquet. It might be partially due to staring at the trees on tbe can, but picking up notes of wet forest. Some peppery citrus notes edge the aromas.
A lot more of the fruity nuances on the palate, with citrus rind, papaya-mango, boysenberries. Earthy floral aspects lead to a medium finish, with bittersweet residuals lingering.
This is so freaking good. Now that the ticker and hazy craze have died down, Burgeon has been quietly putting out WC IPA’s (they make good hazies as well) that make you want to jump in.
