Copenhagen 2/2 2025. 50 cl can from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Crude drawing of some strange, colorful fellow who seems a bit too monstrous to be members of the Kids Club.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet slightly fermented, fruity odor mingling with sharp, tart citrus fruit. Mango and Peach. Whiff of decay. Grapefruit and lemon. Resin.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, silken, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Nice display of NZ hops.
