Copenhagen 22/2 2022. 50 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. White can with a drawing of a crocodile peeking over a wall.
Pours opaque hazy yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruits mingling with a light citric scent. Mango, peach and apricot. Oranges and citrus.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is fairly dry.
Pleasant and not overly boozy DIPA.
