Collaboration with Villages.
A banging collaboration beer brewed with the wonderful Villages Brewery.
A west coast leaning pale with some interesting German hop varietals (most notably Tango) + orange zest in the dry hop creates a dry, spritzy, citrus forward pale which is highly drinkable... superb!

Copenhagen 9/2 2022. 50 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Drawing of a Turtle character in a pool on the can.
Pours opaque hazy, pale yellow with a mid-sized white head A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet, fruity odor mingling with light floral and citrus fruit. Honey melon and peach. Elderberry. Grapefruit and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a somewhat stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a tart streak. Lingers for a while. Dry finish.
The nose is bit subdued but the flavor provides a fine dry bitterness which stays with me for a while.
