A delicious Kölsch beer brewed in collaboration with Mikkeller Brewpub London. Clean, crisp with snappy hop character from a choice blend of Motueka and Saphir.

Copenhagen 2/1 2022. 50 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. White can with fairly strange drawing of a crocodile riding a tortoise.
Pours slightly unclear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles thin, flimsy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intensewith a notable, candy-like sweet odor mingling with sweet malts. Light sourish notes. Sweet bubblegum, sweet pale malts. Sour grains and a bit of citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily and a bit greasy texture. Lightly tingling.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Fairly crisp and clean - but I am not crazy about the candy-like sweet odor.
