Something Good is a rotating hoppy beer series where we explore new ingredients, techniques and processes with the hope of hitting on something good…
SG 19 is a fruit salad IPA, brewed with Wildfarmed malted barley and oats, with a distinctive peach flavour and aroma profile.
Layers of lupulin goodness, leaning heavily on Peacharine in the dry hop meld with a bright hit of Abstrax peach terpenes to create a heady fruit forward experience.

Copenhagen 7/5 2026. 50 cl can from A Good Case web-shop. A quite incomprehensible drawing on the can, Looks like a hop flower spiked by some fire like blades with three giant orange asparagus in the background, Astounding.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of peach in abundance mingling with more subtle citric notes. Sweet peach and nectarine. Tangerine and orange. Whiff of grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed and balanced by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is tart and dry.
A fruit salad indeed. Overdoing the peacherine a little bit.
