Catch up rating from notes, 2012: .5l bottle picked up on trip to Stuttgart. Poured into a nice .5l tumbler, pale golden clear, active carbonation, nice cap of foamy head. Aroma is hay, grassy notes, bready malts. Taste follows the aroma, with a the proper bite of hops at the finish. Nice pils.

Brown 0.33 litre bottle sappled in my hotel room while visiting Stuttgart. Best before 05/2010, drank 09/2009.

A good solid white foaming head sat on top of a pale golden liquid, as you'd expect from a German Pilsner.

A hoppy, straw type aroma hit my nose, nothing big or offensive, just a few hops and a bale of straw!

Dry throughout the tasting, typical clean and clear feel to it, a Mr Average Pilsner in almost every way.

Beer bottle (50 cl.), tasted in 2005.

Appearance : yellow (limpid) color, with white foamy head (well persistency).
Smell : grassy hops aromas.
Taste and mouthfeel : a subtle bitterness dominates the palate, prolonged by a long hoppy persistency.
Drinkability : a good beer in the style German pilsener.
