New release for spring fest season, didn’t see this last spring. Picked up a 0,5L bottle dated best by 11.24 at the local Edeka. Has many qualities of an Export. Aromatic, sweet nose. Same in the flavor but with plenty of floral character. Has a bright, floral, creamy character throughout. A unique body and feel. Impressive. This is one of the local breweries that is ubiquitous here in town, but their quality is usually lacking so I’m happy to say this is a special beer (they’re certainly better than Dinkelacker/Schwaben Bräu/Sanwald). Maybe it’s because spring is on the way but fest is a special time of year and this is a great beer for it. Hoping to enjoy this vom fass in their tent on the festival grounds in April.
