Decanted from a 14.9 oz (441 ml) can into Sand City conical pint glass; no production information, code L1720.
A: Pours a slightly hazy. golden amber color with very robust head formation of a three plus finger, eggshell head, a cap and ring retention, but little appreciable lacing.
S: Aromas of a wheat beer, namely banana and cloves, though with a certain pleasant tartness.
T: More semidry than semisweet and quite tart. Palate not at all like the nose, with more lemon citrus, dragonfruit, caramel, and lactic acid. Bitter on the back end of the swallow.
M: Light to medium bodied with an explosive start but very robust display of carbonation throughout.
O: I like Wits and I like Wilds: this hybrid was interesting but would not be something that I look for again.
