440ml Can from Hargadon Bros., Sligo (€4.75):
Really nice stuff from Lough Gill, as it stands this one is probably one of the best beers from the island of Ireland that I've tried to date, there's only a couple that I've rated higher & this definitely was a nice beer. Opening with quite a sweet & malty taste that came through with plenty of toffee & caramel in the early going, it had some pleasant alcohol notes that turned warming towards the end but never looked like overpowering the beer. I enjoyed the touches of marzipan & darker fruits nearer the end & it's a beer I'd definitely have again if it was a permanent offering from the brewery; I can't wait to try the other in the series I picked up though.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
