a super clean hazy ipa here benefitting als. this is so tidy and light, one of the easiest down hazy ones i can recall ever having, and the hop profile is bursting with freshness, citrus and melon lead the way, but there are layers to this, and frankly i was impressed with all the hoppy beers we had in here this time though, these guys have a real good thing going. this is inly lightly cloudy with a sunny yellow glow and a frothy half inch of white head from the tap. the nose suggests a heavy dry hop, possibly something southern hemisphere in here, im getting fragrant lemon verbena, ripe pear, and stone fruit. there is some mango and even passion fruit in the taste here, and it warms up to pineapple candy, coconut flesh, and tangerine, really dynamic, it never stops moving, riding the right amount of starch in the grain base and a huge surge of carbonation on every sip, its creamy but its super light. the finish is dry and herbal with hardly any bitterness, juicy and even mouthwatering on the swallow, with orange melon and honey on the comeback, delicious! nothing green or biting here at all despite the boldness. overall this is wonderful stuff, brewed for a good cause, and infinitely drinkable. dont sleep on quirk!
