Per label: German Style Helles Bock Lager
Ingredients: Weyermann Vienna, Weyermann Munich II, Saaz hops, and German lager yeast.
Clear amber color with a small head but it does leave a thick coating of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bread, sweet cereal, and peppery hops. Nice clean flavor. A little sweet but not distracting. Bready with a bit of toast and marmalade. A nice spicy and grassy in the finish. Feels like a much lighter beer but is nicely carbonated. Impressed with this traditional take on a Maibock.
