poured chilled from can into a willybecker
The color is medium orange amber with Thick full bone white head with fine bead and visible carbonation lace sticks in a web-like pattern
Smell has a bright hoppy aroma with very orange zest prominent aroma with mild sweet malt and fruity yeast with hint of caramel malt and alcohol
The feel is mix of sweet grain texture and resinous hops in a relatively full body and moderate carbonation with moderate to high bitterness and moderate but not high alcohol in the feel with slightly bitter and sweet finish with a lingering hop and malt coating the palate and alcohol in the back
The flavor is very hop forward with citrus in taste like the aroma brings an orange zestand slight herbal tea flavor in the initial taste yet a substantial malt support with some apparent caramel sweetness in the malt foundation that obscures the 10%abv slightly in the taste with a faint yeast that augments the malt that gives a sort of hop candy type expression with faint peppery mix of hop and alcohol with spice-like drying in the back.
Overall- this is pretty darn impressive for an east coast style non hazy /new england Triple IPA more in common with Bell's double two hearted if you need a comparison with strong Imperial style IPA because it tastes like centennial and simcoe American high alpha hops were used in flavoring and/or aroma. I would drink this again on draft it is that good...10% that you feel after a pint on palate which I prefer to lactose cushioning in a triple IPA personally

Greener is in my opinion one of the best IPA’s I’ve ever had. On par with Pliny the Younger. Not bullshitting either. It’s solid. Crystal clear golden yellow/straw in color. Super creamy and a white cloudy fluff of a head. Sticky and leaves of classic lace near the top and remains visible the whole way till last sip. Great carbonation where the bubbles release all the aromas into your nose at each sip. Citrus notes (grapefruit, pineapple, and some butter orange peel as it warms), lil pine tree and a warm sap (fresh). Seems to get more pronounced as it warms and this is where the malt profile starts showing itself. . The taste is solid from the start. Hoppy, malty, hints of caramel but more hops than anything. Pine, grapefruit, citrus (bitter/sweet/balance). Seems to match the aroma perfectly. Which is great because we all know that we taste with our eyes, nose and mouth. The mouthful is full and inviting (like drink more), chewy from the start on the tongue to the back of the swallow. Very well balanced IMO. Not boozy at all and one would question its ABV until you’re finished.
Solid solid solid beer. Boneshire makes really good beers and this one has just jumped up to the top. Certainly hope it stays in rotation. Would love to age this bad boy for a bit and then do compare with fresh. I bet it will age well !

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
