Pours a relatively dark, clear gold with a small amount of short-lived loose head. Aroma is really nice. Loads of bready malt bursting from the glass. Taste largely follows the nose, in a good way. Bread / biscuit, and some nice malts. Overall, this far exceeded my expectations.

Sampling a cold 22 oz bottle poured into a snifter. Im on vacation so proper glassware aint happening tonight.
Beer pours a clear gold color with a 2 cm bleached white fluffy head that fades to one large surface island soon after the pour. Aroma is light and mild with some grainy malt and bread, a bit of lemon and some spicy hop notes. Nose is mild but seems good for the style.
First sip reveals a light body with crisp texture and fine tingly carbonation. Beer drinks really smooth, almost a little watery, definitely a summer crusher.
Flavor is some bready notes and again I get a hit of lemon and then bitey hops roll in and dominate. Grapefruit rind and general astringency carry the day. Very drying on my palate long after the swallow.
A decent to good pilsner that is great for a super hot day like today or tomorrow. I would buy again, but wouldnt make a trip only for this brew.

Tried this on tap at the brewpub served chilled in a willybecker.
The color is golden with quick dropping small white head with fine bead.
The smell has an herbal hop aroma with mild yeast odor and subtle malt scent
The feel is good with moderate bitter texture and medium carbonation with light sweetness and semi-dry finish
The taste is good with light hop presence that is peppery with yeast that has a mild supporting taste with cracker-like malt flavor with dry accent and lingering hops with herbal element in finish
This is a good pilsner that fits the style and is quaffable but is not extraordinary, a pretty decent drinkable lager and would drink this again
