Collaboration with Ale-Mania.
This smoked IPA is a collaboration brew between Braumanufaktur Hertl, near Bamberg Germany and Ale Mania from Bonn, Germany. Brewed using Pilsner and Munich malts; Simcoe, Mosaic, Summit and Columbus hops. It was brewed in Bonn by David Hertl and Fritz Wülfing. The idea for the beer came from a competition in May of 2017, where people could win a case of beer for suggesting the best idea for the beer style of the collaboration brew! Patrick Murphy of Bamberg, Germany suggested the winning idea.
