Copenhagen 2/11 2024. 50 cl bottler from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Orange label with a drawing of af Mutti wielding a foamy glass of beer. Looks a bit intoxicated.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer Clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a bit of sour grains and a whiff of salty sea. Sweet pale malts, bread and oxidized apple. Sour grains. Saline water.
Strong carbonation. Thin watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a light bitterness. Aftertaste is little bitter with a sweet undertone.Lingers shortly. Finish is a tad watery.
Sweet and a bit thin.

0,5 l bottle dated 22.11.23, “Helles Landbier”. The massive beer store just outside of Stuttgart had a section for local/smaller breweries so I figured I’d try a few. And this was a good choice! Pours cloudy with one of the best noses I’ve experienced in a while. Yeasty, fruity, almost juicy flavor and feel. A hearty brew but easy to drink. A delicious Helles that I would buy again.

Pours a semi clear yellow with soft, fluffy head.
Smell is bready and a bit yeasty, crisp and clean. Notes of citrus, knäckebröd and hints of wheat and lemon peel.
Taste is bready and a bit spicy. Crisp with notes of citrus, rye, knäckebröd and a solid bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice, clean lager.

Mothers Sunshine! From the small bottle, it pours an ever so slightly hazy yellow golden color with a nice large white head that slowly reduces in a classic way. In the nose, it is clean, fresh and a bit malty. The mouth revels in the light malt flavor with a touch of hops. Yum!
