Copenhagen 7/11 2024. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Light brown label with a drawing of a guy with mustache and a smoking amber beer.
ours unclear amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin patch of foam floating in the middle of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with some smoke and a whiff of butter. Sweet caramel and dark bread. Peat and salami.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet with a light salty touch.
Sweet brew with a rather light touch of smoke.

From the half liter bottle, "Father in Law's Pride" pours a clear reddish amber color with a modest off-white head that soon diminishes to a thin ring. The nose gets pleasant smoke and sweetness. The mouth follows - a slightly sweet smoke malt brew!
