On-tap at Chili Line Brewing Co., Santa Fe, NM
A: The beer is slightly hazy amber in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with no head.
S: Light to moderate aromas of chili peppers are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of chili peppers and smoke. There isn't that much heat from the peppers.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation with a bit of heat.
O: This beer has a very nice balance between the chili and the smoke. The lack of a strong amount of heat helps its overall drinkability.
Serving type: on-tap

Described by the brewery as a “Red Chile Rauchbier”.
ABV: 7.0
IBU: 12
Looks a deep reddish amber.
Smells nicely of smoky chilies.
Tastes like a nice rauchbier (though not as hearty as, say, Aecht Sclenkerla), with the addition of a fresh chile flavor that has just a small bite to it. Well-balanced, unlike some chile beers that have been fire water.
The feel is nice but could be heartier.
Overall, delicious.
