From the 650 ml. bottle. Sampled on April 8, 2017.
The pour is a slightly hazy orange-amber with a eggshell white fizzy pour that quick evaporates.
At first I notice a wild ale sour tartness in the aroma with a sweet caramel, bready character coming in after that. Slight spice character too.
Medium body.
The taste has this forward melted caramel sweetness that is quickly usurped by a slightly sour, cherry-like tartness that ends that way. Still, I think it is more sweet than tart.

Bottle from Bert's
Mostly clear deep amber color with a decent sized tightly bubbled off white head that slowly dissipates. Spicy clove with light earth and hints of bready malt with a touch of pitted fruits on the nose. The flavor is quite complex. Initially there's a bready lightly toasty caramel maltiness that gives way to some earthy spicy and lightly fruity character. Light clove light pepper medium dry finish, Pretty impressive beer from a brand new brewery, I'm looking forward to breaking into the other bottles I have.
