Bottle from Bert's
Pours a slightly hazy deep golden color with a good sized bubbly white head that persists. Earthy grassy light pine with bready caramel and a hint of dried fruit on the nose. Lots of malt flavor for a double IPA. Bready caramel and dark fruit with a touch of alcohol and earthy hops. Moderate lingering alcohol and bitterness in the finish. Not a bad beer, but a bit malty for my tastes and the alcohol is a bit too present for the 7% abv.
