From a 650 ml bottle with no date beyond the 2017 year. Sampled on December 7, 2017.
The color of the beer once you get through the ridiculously foamy mocha head is amber-brown. I think it was highly carbonated because the beer exploded from the bottle.
The aroma has a sweet, nutty malt character to start but then this off-putting soapy and sour-sulfur ester kicks in. Maybe tainted.
Medium and fairly smooth body.
The taste seems to bring out the sour-sulfur characters more than the aroma. Sweetness deep within but the off-flavors made this hard for me to really enjoy.
