Tap at the source.
Dark brown with faint ruby at the edges and a creamy off white head that persists. Earthy light roast and chocolate with hints of bread and light pitted fruits. Pretty stand up Porter.

Can from Undun, West Lebanon, NH.
This was poured into an English pint glass. The pour itself was a dark amber/brown color.
The appearance was a burly dark brown color. Some darker close to black coloring towards the center. Soft brown hues closer to the sides of my glass. A rocky top of a head had an eggshell white foaminess to it and gently slid off to leave some spotty lace.
The aroma had some shaved dark chocolate nibs, sweet coffee beans and grounds, subtle cocoa powder, sweet ash/char and a subtle earthy almost anise sweetness underneath.
The flavor moderates between the sweetness of the dark chocolate to the bitterness of the coffee beans. The coffee grounds do provide some expected dry and roasty notes. Quick aftertaste of roast, char/ashiness and sticky earthy dry toasty effects.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied but sat just a touch under. Good sessionability along with enough dryness. Carbonation felt good. Some smoothness dryly meets my tongue to lead into a stiff finish of coffee ground ashy tones.
Overall, I'd say a pretty nicely done American porter well worthy of coming back to.

Dark pour with incredible lacing. Thin tan head. Faint dark fruit and malty in the nose. Great taste, very subdued, but enjoyable. Creamy mouthfeel. A really enjoyable beer.

I'm a big fan of the Town Pound Porter. This is a dark, rich beer that reminds me of winter evenings. Dark fruit, roasted malts, and a bit of a bite make this one of my got to beers in Concord, New Hampshire.
