From a 16 oz. can dated 02/02/2022. Sampled on March 19, 2022.

Attractive looking reddish brown appearance underneath a lasting tan head. Lacing.

Oh yes, those maple sensations are front and center in the aroma along with roasted brown malts, a little wood, and a weaker floral character. The bourbon barrel aging is subtle.

Mouthfeel is creamy and high-medium.

The taste is all about roasted malts and maple even though the maple is lower profile in the flavor than the dose you get on the nose. Subtle bourbon notes but not boozy in any stretch of the imagination. Likeable beer all around.

Pours a rich, clear brown color with a sudsy tan head that lingers and provides a nice ring around the body of the beer.

The nose has a little booze and oak up front, with lots of maple and a bit of roasty malt following, which is where the taste lands.

A medium, slightly creamy mouthfeel fits the beer. Very nice.
