On tap at the brewery on March 17, 2023.
Attractive looking maroon red color under a modest tan head that lasts.
The immediate aroma sensations were floral and dark fruity hops followed by a crackery and roasted malt base. The booze is not as noticeable in the aroma.
The mouthfeel is high medium to full and smooth.
The booze introduces itself more in the flavor but I am still getting a solid roasted malt character as well as a dark fruit akin to red grapes, black current, or cranberries. Warming, lingering finish. Nicely done.
