Our Squirrel Fights Nut Brown Ale is malt-forward with rich flavors of toasted biscuit and toffee-caramel layered over fruity esters. This beer is silky smooth, medium bodied and lightly sweet with a slightly nutty finish. Contains no nuts or nut products.

Holy crap! What an excellent brown ale. Not too heavy, beautiful deep brown color, and a taste that puts other brown ales to shame. Very malty with just the right sweetness balanced by a slightly tangy taste on the back end. With so few brown ales being brewed these days, this was a very welcome adddition to my list of favorite beers. Very well done!

Wowzers... not only a style that has become increasing rare, but an excellent example of the style as well. Excellent clear mahogany pour with a dense beige cap that persists and laces. Aromas and flavors are exactly what I enjoy from a Brown Ale - well-balanced lightly roasted malts that are very lightly sweet with the hop well in the background. Super clean and smooth and great mouthfeel. I will be seeking out more of this one.
