$16 AUD per 570ml pint at Penny Blue, Melbourne.
Fruity and berry-forward. Strawberry, resin. Candied red malt. Caramel.
Coating, smooth, well carbonated. Has a bit of dryness from toasty malts, but is wet for the most part - at least enough it's refreshing. Aptly medium-bodied.
Drinkable and likable. Finally an IPA from Australia that doesn't target the same tired hop profile comprised of a narrow range of vague tropical/juicy flavours.
One of the few IPAs I've tried in Australia I'd order again.
