Brauerei-Gasthof Zwönitz

This place is definitely worth the 30 minute drive south of Leipzig. Lovely Biergarten outside a nicely decorated rustic building featuring three different rooms full of heavy wooden furniture. Also a nice playground for the kids. They offered four of their own beers on tap, plus a handful of guest beers. All were good quality, well-served and at a reasonable price. The Feierond was particularly tasty, although I would have called it an Alt based on appearance and taste. Zwönitzer products are available at the better bottle shops in Leipzig, but the brewery is worth a visit.
